Accessibility advisors are here
and ready to help you
We understand that each individual comes with a unique set of strengths as well as areas of need. Accessibility advisors are case managers that provide:
- Information and support to help you become a better learner
- Advocacy for students who face physical, medical, sensory, mental health or learning barriers to education
- Support through the educational process, encouraging independence and self-advocacy while providing individualized services, learning strategies, and accommodations
If you would like to discuss accessibility, please contact our Student Services team at studentservices@georgianatilac.com.
They will set up an appointment with a qualified Accessibility Advisor who will review your needs and the solutions available. If indicated, the Advisor will also prepare an “academic accommodation” letter and contact your instructors on your behalf.
Student Services can also provide a reference to a psychologist who is qualified to diagnose learning disabilities.
