Postsecondary education is an investment in your future. We know many students find it tough to make ends meet, which is why we offer a few options to help you pay your way to graduation.
Georgian at ILAC offers scholarships to students – international, full-time first year, and returning students. You can afford this!
What is a scholarship?
A scholarship is a monetary award presented to a student primarily on the basis of academic achievement. Other criteria may apply.
Scholarship Eligibility and Conditions
The availability and monetary value of all scholarships are subject to change. Georgian@ILAC reserves the right to change the value and eligibility criteria for awards without notice.
The Georgian@ILAC Entrance Scholarship is worth $1,000 in the first semester and is awarded to new students joining Georgian@ILAC. Limited number of scholarships available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Students must be admitted to a Georgian@ILAC program and they must apply for a scholarship by the respective intake deadline
- Recipients should have an above average GPA (B equivalent or higher) and successfully have met the English Language Proficiency requirements
- Personal statement of interest, resume and other documents provided when applying for admission may be used for evaluation
- Recipients must pay their full tuition deposit before scholarship deadline
- Scholarships will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis
- Successful recipients will be notified via email shortly after an offer letter has been issued
The Leadership Scholarship in Memory of Apramapar Singh is awarded to select returning students who demonstrate leadership and have made a positive impact in the classroom. The scholarship is worth $1,000 and it is based on Faculty recommendation.

The Georgian@ILAC Returning Student Scholarship is worth $2,000 and is awarded to returning students who have demonstrated academic success. Limited number of scholarships available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Returning students must submit an application by the submission deadline
- Recipients must pay their full tuition deposit before scholarship deadline
- Scholarships will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis
- Have successfully completed the previous semester
- Other accomplishments such as community contribution may be taken into consideration
- Successful recipients will be notified via email
application cycles
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and will remain open prior to the start of registration.
During the application cycle, scholarship opportunities are reviewed, and recipients are selected. Due to the high volume of applications received, only successful applicants will be notified. All notifications are sent to your Georgian student email account.

helpful tips for completing your general application
Are you a first-year student?
- If you are in your first year, please ensure your Georgian College Student ID# is accurately entered in your application.
- Your eligibility will be evaluated based on documents included in your admission application.
Start early
You can submit your application as soon as possible for the given term. This will allow ample time for your submission to be reviewed.
Review and update your application each semester
- Be sure to review this page for deadline dates each semester to be considered for the next round of scholarships.
